Abstract:
The effectiveness of intercultural communication is largely predetermined by an adequate study of the linguistic and cultural basis of the corresponding linguistic views of the world. The article argues for the interdependence of such fundamental phenomena as the linguistic view of the world and the ethnic stereotype.
