Abstract
The phraseology of the language is a reflection of the worldview of the people, their mentality, culture, customs and even religion, so the formation of phraseology is associated with intra-linguistic and extralinguistic factors. Their study is already important for the understanding, interpretation, and display of the internal culture of a particular nation. Comparing phraseological units in different languages is especially interesting, since different national cultures, different linguistic and cultural traditions vary.
Phraseologisms are studied from various points of view: lexical and grammatical structure, semantics, and origin. Our goal is to compare phraseological units in Russian and Adyghe, two structurally different languages, in order to identify structural-functional-semantic similarities and differences. Comparative phraseology is also important for compiling bilingual phraseological dictionaries.
